Bob Eubanks started American Legacy almost as a
hobby, deciding to design some wholesale products
and have them, through judicious marketing and
"warrior forums" in his office, make a good living for
him. And  he also to have some fun making things
that he liked. That was his business plan and he was
overflowing with small business ideas.

His wife, Wei, started  American Legacy to help her
family overseas and to create a legacy for her
children. They have both realized their dreams.

Without the help of telemarketing dialers or computer
phone systems, he has managed to make the
business grow steadily.

They, American Legacy Products, Inc.,  have hired
wonderful people to work with them in their Vista,
California import offices
, to work as their sales reps
and
inside their Phoenix warehouse.

We are a very small group of loving entrepreneurs
trying to make life better for each other.

I have been working in clay for about 18 years now. I
first made some terra cotta ceramic prototypes for
American Legacy about 5 years ago at the insistence
of my friend Judy at Mission San Xavier. She
introduced us to each other, and in July of 2005, I
went with Carla and Brett and Josephine to Phoenix
to introduce my new line at the Oasis Trade Show.

We engaged in such "team building activities" as
getting lost in Phoenix searching from Glendale to
Scottsdale for a Dunkin' Doughnuts Shop with
Bavarian Creme doughnuts on its shelves.

We have found, sadly and to our dismay, that other
people copy our product line, it is so good.  Life can
be like that. Why is life like that?

April's Short Bio: Click those words to link to the
longer biography. I was raised in Tucson, Arizona, in
Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and
in Guadalajara, Mexico. I have loved the work of the
simple artisans and have worked like them forever.

Wonderful people, one at a time, over all of these
years, have bought my work and sustained my
efforts. I thank them each and every one.

What American Legacy does.....
For American artists and for you, the public.

There are many artists who work very hard their entire lives
and never do earn enough for medical coverage, enough to
buy a home,  nor enough to fulfill just one or two personal
dreams.

With American Legacy's help, these artists now have their
wonderful work reproduced  in quantities large enough to
make a financial difference in their lives.

And, America has the opportunity to see their work, and more
importantly, to afford their work.  Individual original work takes
a long time to make and though an artist may charge a lot for
his work, he still ends up only earning about $2.50 a hour for
his efforts.

January 2010 news is that Jack Graham has just come out
with a new line of Mountain Heritage Wildlife sculptures, to
compliment his Desert Heritage Wildlife line from last summer.
So, order those new catalogue pages now!!! They are lifelike
moments captured from time and wonderful. He has new wolf,
bear and buffalo mugs, too.

Welcome  and come on in to April's World today. American
Legacy invites you to meet one of your own western American
folk artists.
