The first eight angels below are from 6 to 7
inches long  and are heavier than the rest, than
the smaller ones. These are angels that hang on
walls and other sturdy places. Some are Native
American and some are not.

Some hang on trees as ornaments for the
holidays, but must be on sturdier branches.

There is an angel holding roses, an old Navajo
angel, an old Sioux angel, a Zapotec Mexican
Indian angel and a dove and lily carrying angel.
There is a Navajo from Shiprock, a Hopi from
Second Mesa and a Garden angel.

She is for people named
after flowers and plants,
as she is named after
roses. She brings them to
you, also, out of love.
The Navajo were rounded up and held at Ft. Sumner until too many died and then they were released. This girl tied on a blanket as clothing and wrapped her legs, Pueblo style, against the winter cold.

and she represents
uprooted people and
prisoners and their
families. For survivors.
The old Sioux women, for awhile, wore cloth dresses covered with elk's teeth for jingle sounds and to make patterns. Their belts hung to the ground to show their rich collection of brass circles and their beaded moccasins were very very well made.

her skirt over her head to
keep off the sun one day,
and it became all the rage
in her town. For

lives in two states, for
migrants.

hope and renewal.
