makes them feel at home in his company. I am sure that he
perfected this skill as owner and host at his restaurant. La

diners on certain days.
He is my prayer that we begin to host our immigrants and
each other with his depth of kindness, friendliness and
wonderful hospitality.
He truly personifies that old adage that a person might be
hosting angels unawares and so should host all people
equally, with open arms, minds and hearts.
The wool sarape that he holds is to offer warmth to anyone
who might be feeling chilly on this special night. In my
nativity scene, he is offering it to his friend, Cesar Chavez,
who is offering him some grapes.
