I saw. Maria's
necklace and earrings
are made of real
beads from Mexico.
The Baby Jesus
looked cold in his clay
nightgown, so I
covered him with a
lace skirt and collar.
His beads match his
mother's.

Maria and Jose and the Angel have walked from their
homes in Oaxaca, Mexico, a lovely and fascinating and
suffering place, and they have made it as far as the border
with Arizona and they cannot go on, are not allowed to go
on.
Maria is very, very tired and Jose is very protective of her
and the Angel prays for us all, with her arms out and
mouth open.
Baby Jesus loves people and he is really enjoying this
