Be An Angel Newsletter
Poor old angel. I was just beginning to experiment with
real eyes and noses and lips, as my work didn't have
them before this period, and I made them much too big
at first. But her message was important. I sold her with a
devil who held a list just the opposite of hers. Then, I
made them
both whispering into the ears of a poor and
agonizing man who had to choose how to behave. I like
to attach messages to my work. Poor old big faced angel.
I photographed this Linda Ronstadt figurine from my
Tucson and Arizona Nativity Scene made for
El Centro
Cultural de las Americas at 40 W. Broadway, downtown.
The nativity is named
Cruzando Fronteras, Crossing
Borders and I wrote about there if you care to visit and
see more pieces of it. It is still for sale.

This photo of Linda can be clicked upon and made
larger and then saved onto your computer, if you would
like. She would make a lovely background for a greeting
card or one page calendar of some kind, if you wanted to
use her, you have my permission.
The photograph of St. Francis of Assisi with a cat,
with
turtles around his feet and with an angel next
to him, was taken at
Tohono Chul Park this week at
my art presentation out there. He is for sale for
$90, the angel who holds your prayers is $50 and
the turtles are mostly $3 to $6.

Here is a slideshow of my pictures from that day at
the Park.
The red, white and blue poster with a girl's face on it is
made like those posters of Obama during his election
campaign. Now YOU  can put your face or someone's
face on a poster, too.

I used the face of a girl that I had painted a flag on. I do
children's face painting for special occasions and she
asked for a full faced flag. I turned her face into an
Obamicon.me poster like everyone is doing this week.
Go see it, and try it out, it's pretty easy and the results
are very professional looking. Smaller photos and dog
or cat photos, etc. look best.
